AdBrite, a content ad network, has just soft launched its newest product: InVideo
With InVideo the company has created a video player similar to YouTube’s, which users can brand with their own logo and, if wanted, include AdBrite ads. The good thing: you get paid when other people watch your video and even better, you also get paid if somebody embeds it on their own site. Additionally, a click leads the watcher to your website. InVideo is still in private beta testing but you can sign up for an invitation on the about page.
Comments from users around the internet are pretty controversial. One argument is that it is now easier than ever to steal a video, push in some AdBrite ads and profit from it. I think it is true, nevertheless it is a great way to embed (your) videos on your website.

Nike is showing off two animated robots exercising popular sports: american football, soccer, baseball.
Dynamic movie cuts meet a funky electronic beat. Quite cool! “What’s your game?”

Great commercial for the Honda Civic consisting of an orchestra producing sounds with their mouth.

Apple’s new commercial for the Intel-Macs – like the controversial iPod ad – seems to have used a music video by “The Postal Service” as inspiring example. The video shows very similar pictures and cuts, especially the scene where the woman looks into the man’s eyes. Here is a video comparing the two, side-by-side. On the left is the apple clip, on the right the music video. By accident? Again?

Update: The similarities are no accident: both videos have been produced by Josh & Xander, reports The Culf of Mac. Postal Service’s label told yesterday the video has not been licensed and they didn’t know about it till Apple’s Intel-Mac release.

A new tv commercial for the Polo from Volkswagen. All the protection you need.
Great ad from DDB London.

At Macworld San Francisco 2006, Steve Jobs showed a new television advertisement for the new Intel Macs.
“The Intel chip: for years, its been trapped inside PCs, inside dull little boxes, dutifully performing dull little tasks, when it could have been doing so much more. Starting today, the Intel chip wlll be set free and get to live life inside a Mac. Imagine the possibilities.”

Saturn, an electronic store chain here in Europe, has released a rather simple-minded but still nationally funny commercial.
Basically the message is: “We don’t talk you into bullsh*t but recommend the coolest products for the best price”. Jung von Matt Austria worked with 3D-specialist Soulcage Department to create this animated movie.

The young fashion brand New Yorker had launched a campaign on 14th November 2005 with ads on TV and in audience-related magazines. Only to withdraw the commercial after the Austrian and German Advertising Council had asked for a statement about their “Atomic Explosion” spot.
Personally, I like the idea of showcasing the human’s addiction to sensational happenings and the claim “Dress for the moment” perfectly fits but why does it have to be an atomic explosion. Get the chance to watch it here and judge for yourself.
The company said the commercial will be removed from all media till 15th December.

Great Short-Ads by mobile telecommunications provider Vodafone. The company chose four phone call situations one would rather not have:
Vodafone: Dad, I’m gay
Vodafone: I’m pregnant
Vodafone: I had an affair
Vodafone: I’m not your dad
“Talk for 60 minutes, pay for 3.”
