Following the success of the real Old Spice “I’m on a horse” commercial it was inevitable that somebody would create an Apple-specific parody. It’s a simple formula: just take the shirtless, dripping beefcake of the Old Spice ad, replace it with a doughy nerd in a turtleneck and change the can of Old Spice into an Apple product.

You know when a service evolved from its early-adopter base to the mainstream: somebody creates a rap song about the service. “Badges Like Us” finds Mr. Silva (@borismsilver) and “Newby” (@thenewb) rapping about checking-in all over cities and earning badges. It also features the lyric, “I hope this hits TechCrunch or else I’ll be sad,”
You know the Windows 7 commercial where everybody is finishing each other’s sentences, talking about what they want from an operating system? Here’s an awesome and spot-on parody from College Humor.
A bit old but still a classic video showing what would have happened to the packaging design and branding if Microsoft had designed the iPod, for example: “I-pod Pro 2005 Human Ear Professional Edition (with Subscription)”
This is an awesome series of advertisements for a design school.
You get the catch immediately when you sucked weren’t so good at mathematics/physics in school. :-) Apparently the ideas for the ads appeared on the net some years ago and the advertising agency just grabbed it, but anyway … this is pure fun!

Great Photoshop Adbusting of a boring advertisement which you see everywhere in Berlin, Germany: Britney Spears, Leona Lewis and Christina Aguilera selling their albums. The adbusting was done by the FTW crew (Mr. Tailon, Baveux Prod., Kone & Epoxy) and consists of overlaying the image with stickers from Adobe Photoshop’s interface panels.

There is not much movement going on during the first minute of the video but make sure you watch it until the end. This is a crazy experiment for people bored of the usual music visualisation.
