bits_palm_pre-116x150 The Palm Pre Kicks Ass! Watch The Full Video From CESWhen Palm announced their upcoming Palm Pre Smartphone the whole internet spoke about it. Positively.

If you want to know why, here’s the full video presentation from CES.

After having watched the video I can say the Palm Pre (facts) kicks iPhone’s ass in terms of usability, multi-tasking with flipping applications, seamless integration of the cloud, checking the calendar while on the speaker phone, unobstrusive notifications. Wow!

If Palm manages to market the device well, I think they’ll have a chance to survive and kick other phone’s asses. Some people say it’s their last chance or else they’ll go bust.

  • Why does everyone build phones that look like the iphone?

  • The iPhone is the new best-practice and the best gets copied often.

  • I’m a huge Palm and Mac fan. The Pre better work great in an enterprise environment otherwise it’s not going to rate.

  • I’ve had my Pre since shortly immediately after launch and am glad to find (by way of this forum) that I can now set a ring tone on incoming text messages and can look for by means of e-mails and such. Now is there any hope for an upcoming launch in which I can look for my calendar? Would make my employment very much simpler, obtaining dates of last appointments. No other complaints, except that yesterday I was in and out of Sprint assistance (not unusual). I think I used to be roaming, and looked at my calendar. Every little thing inside calendar was one particular hour earlier than what I had input. The clock was a single hour early as properly. I had been frightened to death–then, after we got back into Sprint program yet again, almost everything was normalized. Has this happened to anybody else?? Hunting forward to answers, but please remember, I’m no techie and speak English rather than technospeak.
